Anita leads an IP and Media team recognised as being "highly accomplished", that "impresses on both contentious and non-contentious matters" (Chambers Asia Pacific 2022).
Anita focuses on all areas of IP, media and sports law. Clients entrust her to advise them on IP, media and sporting matters from their inception through to development, commercialisation, protection, enforcement and ultimate divestment.
On the commercial front, Anita assists clients in major commercial and infrastructure transactions and large-scale media and sporting projects. She has expertise in complex and high profile content and rights deals, digital rights, advertising, marketing, sponsorship, production and media regulation.
On the enforcement and defence side, Anita regularly advises and acts in trade mark, copyright, patent, consumer protection and breach of confidence disputes in the Copyright Tribunal and Federal Court of Australia.
Anita's expertise is recognised by numerous leading legal directories.
