Global law firm Ashurst is advising Rothschild & Co as financial adviser to Greencore Group plc on the recommended cash and share offer for Bakkavor Group plc (Bakkavor), announced today. The acquisition values the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Bakkavor at approximately £1.2 billion.
The Ashurst team was led by partners Tom Mercer and Tim Rennie, with support from partner Stuart Rubin, senior US counsel Jeffrey Johnson, senior associates Louise Johnson, Sarah Curry and associates Shashtika Sundar, Sandile Sibiya and Victoria Padley.
